In person, at a Stage & Screen show

Bring it to the show

Our Stage & Screen shows stream live and have a studio audience, and your stuff can be part of it. The Sell Outs turn it into a prop in an improv scene while the room and the online audience bid on it. That dusty juicer might become a jetpack. Your old exercise bike? Time machine fuel. It's consignment theater: we provide the audience and the entertainment, you provide the props.

  1. 1

    Box it

Put it in an unsealed, mail-ready box, like you're actually going to ship it. Because we will, if it sells. Don't tape it up yet.

  2. 2

    Come early

Buy a ticket (bringing a prop doesn't get you in free), then check in with our appraiser (the person who checks your item in) up to an hour before showtime.

  3. 3

    Name your price

You set your net price: what you take home. We set the listing price higher to cover taxes, fees, shipping and handling.

  4. 4

    Watch it perform

You never know when or if your prop will pop up in a scene. If it doesn't, it's auctioned in the Lightning Round (a speed auction at the end of the show). Help sell it on stage, or watch from your seat.

  5. 5

    It sells

We ship it to the buyer, and you get your net price by Venmo within 3 days of it shipping. If it goes for more, HEY LOOK, A SQUIRREL! (Anything above your net price is ours.)

  6. 6

    It doesn't sell

It gets the dramatic send-off it deserves, then you take it home after the show.

Questions and the fine print

What should I bring?

  • Kitchen gadgets gathering dust
  • Exercise equipment you swore you'd use
  • Home décor that seemed like a good idea
  • Tech accessories from 2019
  • Anything with a story behind it

Does it have to be funny?

No! Some of the dullest items make the funniest props. Besides, who knows what's going to be funny?

How many can I bring?

As many as you can carry. More props, more chaos, more laughs. They may not all make it on stage.
