Nothing is collected by us. The pages are static files.

Your browser does fetch a few things from other companies to render them, and any request tells that company your IP address and roughly what you are looking at:

• Google Fonts serves the typefaces the site is set in.
• jsDelivr serves the code behind Backstage, the Krewe’s own pages.
• eBay serves the product photos on the shop, straight from their image servers.
• YouTube, where a page has a video embedded in it. YouTube sets its own cookies once a video is there, which we do not control. The clip at the bottom of this page loads nothing from YouTube until you press play. In the Prop Shop, a prop with a YouTube video shows that video's preview picture, which comes from YouTube's image server (i.ytimg.com) the way the product photos come from eBay's, with no cookies; YouTube's player loads only when you press the video or Watch. On the homepage, YouTube's player loads, muted, once the Live Shows theater's doors are on your screen, and plays a few seconds of 1937 newsreel footage of the Hindenburg behind them, seen whenever the doors open.
• Facebook, when you press Watch on a prop whose video is on Facebook. Facebook's player sets its own cookies, which we do not control. Nothing loads from Facebook until you press it.

Our host, Cloudflare, keeps standard server logs of requests the way every web host does. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages get read. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and does not identify you.

Checking a prop in at a show, on the check-in form the Prop Master shows you, collects what a consignment needs: your name, your email address, your Venmo handle so we can pay you, which show, what the prop is, the price you set, whether you want to go on stage, and a signature agreeing to the terms. You can add a photo of the prop too, if you like; your phone shrinks it before it is sent, and only the Krewe can see it.

It is stored in our database (Supabase), where only the SOLD OUT! Comedy Krewe can read it; the form can send it but cannot read anything back. It is used to run the show, sell your item and pay you, and kept as long as we need it to settle the sale and our books. It is not sold, rented, or handed to anyone who is not helping do those things.

If your prop sells, the buyer's marketplace handles the money and the shipping address. We never see a card number.

The EMAIL PROPMASTER form on our How to sell page collects your name, your email address, which show (if you pick one) and your question. It is stored in our database (Supabase), where only the SOLD OUT! Comedy Krewe can read it, and emailed to [email protected] so the Prop Master can answer you. Your email address is used only to answer you; it is never added to a mailing list. It is kept for a year after it is answered, then deleted. This browser also remembers the email address you typed, so it is filled in next time.

The REQUEST A BACKSTAGE PASS form on Backstage, the Krewe’s own pages, collects your name, your email address, what you do for the show and anything else you write, plus the Google account you were logged in with, if you were. It is stored in our database (Supabase), where only the show’s owners can read it. It is used only to decide whether to let you in and to tell you if we do; it is never added to a mailing list. Delete requests by emailing [email protected].

The SELL ONLINE page in our Prop Shop collects four things: the links to your listings (or your whole store), your email address, anything you choose to tell us about them, and your signature, drawn in the box under the fine print, which says you read it. The signature is kept with your listings and only we see it. Emailing links to [email protected] gives us the links and your words, plus whatever your email itself carries.

Your email address is used for one thing: telling you when the item has been roasted and is in the shop. It is never shown on the site, never added to a mailing list, and never sold or shared. It sits in a private table that only we can read. The listing, and what you tell us about the item, may be quoted and roasted in public, which is what you sent it for.

To save you typing it next time, your own browser remembers the email address you used on that form. It stays on your device: we cannot read it from there, and clearing your browser's site data forgets it.

The sale itself happens on eBay, between you and your buyer. We never see a card number or a shipping address.

You do not buy from this site. Every item links out to eBay, Whatnot, Poshmark or wherever it is listed, and the sale happens entirely over there under that company's terms and privacy policy. We receive what the seller dashboard shows us, which is enough to ship your item and no more.

Shows are filmed and streamed. Coming to one means you may end up in a recording, a clip, or a post. Bringing a prop means we may photograph it and talk about it publicly, which is rather the point of the exercise.

This site is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them. A young person selling a prop should have a grown-up check them in.

Ask. Email [email protected] and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. There is no form and no process, because there is not enough of it to need one.

Listings sent in to be roasted are kept until we have said yes or no, and for a year after that, so the same one is not roasted twice.

Prop check-in records are kept while the item is unsold and for as long afterwards as the tax year needs. Records of a completed sale stay with the marketplace it sold on.

If this changes, the date below changes with it. If it changes in a way that matters, we will say so out loud rather than quietly reissuing the page.
