What we collect. What we don't.
This site does not track you. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel, no session recorder, and no cookie set by us. Nobody here is building a profile of you, mostly because nobody here has the time.
What follows is the honest detail: the handful of moments where information does change hands, and who it goes to.
Nothing is collected by us. The pages are static files.
Your browser does fetch a few things from other companies to render them, and any request tells that company your IP address and roughly what you are looking at:
Our own hosts, GitHub Pages and Cloudflare, keep standard server logs of requests the way every web host does.
Links from our shop to eBay carry an affiliate code, and we earn a commission when something sells through one. It costs you nothing extra, and it does not change the price. We are telling you because the FTC asks us to, and because you should know when someone recommending an item gets paid for it. We do.
Checking a prop in at a show collects what a consignment needs: your name, your email address, your Venmo handle so we can pay you, the price you set, whether you want to go on stage, and a signature agreeing to the terms.
That goes into our private Airtable base and is emailed to us. It is used to run the show, sell your item and pay you. It is not sold, rented, or handed to anyone who is not helping do those things.
If your prop sells, the buyer's marketplace handles the money and the shipping address. We never see a card number.
You do not buy from this site. Every item links out to eBay, Whatnot, Poshmark or wherever it is listed, and the sale happens entirely over there under that company's terms and privacy policy. We receive what the seller dashboard shows us, which is enough to ship your item and no more.
Shows are filmed and streamed. Coming to one means you may end up in a recording, a clip, or a post. Bringing a prop means we may photograph it and talk about it publicly, which is rather the point of the exercise.
This site is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them. A young person selling a prop should have a grown-up check them in.
Ask. Email [email protected] and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. There is no form and no process, because there is not enough of it to need one.
Prop check-in records are kept while the item is unsold and for as long afterwards as the tax year needs. Records of a completed sale stay with the marketplace it sold on.
If this changes, the date below changes with it. If it changes in a way that matters, we will say so out loud rather than quietly reissuing the page.
